We offer coating/application solutions specific to Hawaii’s often harsh climates, while preserving aesthetic intent. Additionally we employ precise proprietary coating procedures in order to address the many variables unique to each project.

Conventional House Paints and Clear Finishes
Single component interior & exterior coatings. This group in general is comprised of both solvent and waterborne coatings: surface conditioners, primers and a wide variety of topcoats.

Conventional Interior & Exterior Stains
Oil-based penetrating stains, waterborne stains, combination stain and clear coat combinations provide a broad palette from which to choose for creating a particular color or effect.

Aniline Dyes
Dyes provide an alternative to conventional penetrating stains when brighter more vivid colors are desired without obscuring wood grain. They may also be used in conjunction with conventional stains.

Catalyzed Coatings (two or more parts combined)
Catalyzed lacquers and varnishes produce tough durable surfaces for interior applications. Catalyzed urethanes and polyurethanes are available for many exterior applications.

Automotive, Aircraft and Marine Finishes
These coatings are generally formulated with blends of the highest quality raw materials, i.e. resins available, and more often than not require catalysts. Testing of these types of coatings during their research and development stage, is extremely rigorous when compared that of conventional house paints. Correct applications of automotive, aircraft and certain marine coatings, are best performed by experienced professionals. Custom Coatings usually incorporates proprietary procedures when applying these types of finishes.
